Community resources for psychological support

  1. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Support Groups: The NAMI Connection is a support group for people with mental health conditions. There are both virtual and in-person groups all over the community. NAMI support groups are led by peers, free-of-cost, and are meant to provide support and shared experience.   2. Free Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) course: DBT has great evidence in Borderline Personality Disorder, but is also helpful in depression, anxiety, anger management, PTSD, self-harm or cutting behaviors. Access the course here: https://dialecticalbehaviortherapy.com/ 
  3. Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) Family Connections Program: This is a free live online course. It is meant to provide skills and education to individuals who are supporting someone affected by BPD.
